Our Team
Founder:
Dr. Shawn Stanton,DVM
AA Animal ER Center is owned and operated by Dr. Shawn Stanton. After graduating from Louisiana State University School of Veterinarian Medicine in 2003, Dr. Stanton made her journey back home to Palm Harbor. She was accompanied by a rescued bull, several cats, her loving yellow lab, and her dedicated sheepdog. Quickly realizing her love of emergency medicine, she opened the ER Center in 2005 and has been providing compassionate critical care ever since. Her drive is unwavering and her ability to breathe through intense situations is remarkable.

Kerry
Kerry is our practice manager at AA Animal ER Center. She graduated from Florida State University in 2006 with a B.S. in Women's Studies. After 20 years of working in animal medicine, Kerry's heart will forever stay in this field. Her knowledge and skills in this trade are invaluable and hard to come by.
Robin
Meet Robin, who provides a kind and loving presence for clients and patients. Robin is a confident, dynamic emergency nurse and long-time employee of AA Animal ER Center. During her 17 years in the field, she has gained extensive knowledge of veterinary medicine with experience in multiple specialties to include shelter and internal medicine.
